Terms of Service
Hello, and welcome to my Commissions page! :3 If you're here, I'm assuming you are searching for commissions, right? If so, you've come to the right place! Here, you can find prices, updates, open slots... anything you may find important. If the information given doesn't answer any of your questions, or you want to speak with me, simply contact me at DeviantArt, at www.earthsong9405.deviantart.com. Now, before you place an order for a commission or print, please read my Terms of Service, as seen below.
After that, take a look at examples of my artwork in the Commissioned Works page, view the prices in my "Price Guide" page, and order what you'd like! :)
Rules To Receive a Commission
** First and foremost, I have the right to decline a commission. **
1. If you Commission me, you are obligated to pay me for the completed commission.
2.If you're unsure of being able to pay me, do not order a commission from me; it will only waste my time and your own. The only exception is if you sign-up for the Waiting List, or have discussed a payment plan with me.
3. Unless you've asked for a deadline for me to meet, please be patient with me. Just as every other commissionable artist, there are many other things I do in life besides just commissions, and finishing them overnight is more than likely not going to happen. Rushing me won't get your commission done any quicker, or any better.
4. When you send me the commission order, we will further discuss the details of the commission (such as final price, deadline if there is going to be one, when and how the payment is received) until we come to a full agreement.
5. For the sake of yourself and myself, PLEASE be sure you want to commission me before you contact me. If you're not sure, you may not like the commission, and I can't help you with that. :/
6. Information on this website are inclined to change at any given time.
Rights
The rights of the image are joint, due to the characters belonging to the client and the artwork belonging to me. I have the right to use the commissioned image to make prints and sell, as well as use for commercial uses, such as advertising my commissions, using it as an example, banner, including it in my portfolio, ect. I will, however, agree not to use the client's commission for profit if the commission is personal, such as portraits of family members, friends, or themselves, or if the client just wishes for it to be private. The client has the right to use the image for personal uses, such as wall-art, wallpaper for desktop of computer, reference of a character, and in the case of Skech Commissions, to color, and use it on a website IF, and ONLY IF, you give ME proper credit for the artwork. However, under NO circumstances may the client state that the artwork is theirs, as it is MY work, nor are they allowed to copy and sell the commission, or even use it to profit.
Client more than welcome to repost their commission(s) in their gallery, so long as they link back to my DA and give me proper credit.
COMMERCIAL WORK MUST BE DISCUSSED if my work is to be used for profit!
You agree that my watermark and signature will REMAIN on the piece for public use, UNLESS discussed otherwise. If NOT discussed with me, any request to remove the watermark will be completely ignored. An unwatermarked and signed version will be given to the client via email.
Do NOT assume that, because you've bought the commission, you obtain the copyrights along with them. Copyrights will remain in MY possession. IF THE CLIENT WANTS FULL RIGHTS TO THE IMAGE, THEY MUST DISCUSS THE MATTER WITH ME.
If there is confusion with the stated rights, or if there is something you wish to discuss about them, just contact me.

Methods of Payment- Paypal, and on some occasions, mail. YOU MUST ASK ME FIRST IF THE PAYMENT IS TO BE SENT VIA MAIL!! I DO NOT accept personal checks.
Options:
1. Full payment upfront, upon my go-ahead to send payment
2. Full payment after sketch has been completed.
3. Half and half, where you pay half upfront, and the rest after I complete the commission.
NOTE: Any commission($) over $70 can have a custom payment plan discussed.
No PAY? NO DEAL!
Time Taken on Commissions- How long I take on completing commissions vary, depending on what else I have on my plate to finish first, such as school work, parkour training, ect. The usual completion time of a commission is usually from 3 days to a few weeks, sometimes longer than that. If you wish, you may check up on me and ask about the progress of your commission at any time. In fact, I recommend it; a little friendly pressure keeps me well on track.
Cancellation or Rejection of the Commission
If the commission is canceled or rejected for any given reason, what has been payed will not be refunded, and a percentage of the original fee must be payed. These are the rates:
After sketching stage, prior to finished work......................................50%
After completion of finished work....................................................100%
Full refund can and will be given IF cancelled before sketching stage, or if I initiate the cancellation personally.
Buying the Original
The ability to buy the original artwork of the commission is completely enabled. In other words, yes, you are able to buy the complete original of your commissioned image, but only IF you ask me. HOWEVER, in order to do so, it obviously costs extra; this is where my commissions get more expensive.
How much it costs extra to buy the original can be found in the Shipping page.

What I Will Do
I will do just about anything, really. However, how WELL I do it is another story. What is listed below is what I excel at and what I find I can do with relative ease. If you do not see what you'd like listed, just ask me. I don't bite. C:
-Original Characters -Humans (fantasy or regular) -Creatures of any kind -Animals of any kind -High-Detail (Time will take longer to finish) -Semi-human/Humanoids (Humans with feral or animalistic traits, like slit-pupil eyes, ears, tail, feet, ect) -Anthromorphics/Weres (like werewolf, weretiger, wereshark, ect) -Couples (All couples and sexualities accepted, but must be kept on a T rated level) -Pets -Portraits -Fantasy -Mild blood/gore -Cards -Landscapes -Concept art (Character concepts, monster concepts, landscape concepts, ect.) -Mythical -Semi-Realism -Realism -Recreation Works (must be of your own work) |
What I WON'T Do-Highly Explicit content of any kind
-No nudity ( I don't care for nudity in my art, so it's a no-go) -Porn or Adult rated work of any sort, of ANY kind, content or material, including fetishes, NO EXCEPTIONS -Any kind of intolerance and/or purposely insulting material -Fanart (I'm not one to draw fanart, but on the VERY rare occasion, I might make an exception depending on the content) -Large crowds (images with more than 3 characters in it) I currently have no desire to draw large pieces like this -Style Duplication (Quite frankly, you really shouldn't be trying to commission me if you want a style duplicated.) |
