Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is a commission?
A. A commission is a request given to an artist from a customer that is payed for. The customer tells the artist what they want to see in a specific pic they'd like, they pay, and the artist does the pic for them.
Q. How do I place an order for a commission?
A. If you haven't read, then please take a look at the "Terms of Service" page. Everything you need to know is there. :)
Q. Are you currently open for commissions?
A. Yes, I am currently OPEN for commissions.
Q. How much does your commissions cost? What types are you offering?
A. Please take a look at my "Price Guide" Page please. :)
Q. I don't live in the United States. Can I still order a commission? What if I want the original as well?
A. Of course! I've done commissions for people around the world, and I've also shipped original artwork safely and successfully worldwide as well. However, if you do not have PayPal, I may not be able to accept the commission, but I'm willing to try and work it out; just contact me and we'll discuss the matter.
Q. Well, your slots are full. Now what? Can I Reserve a slot?
A. Absolutely! I have a Reserved Slots list available for anyone who still wants a commission, and want to be sure they'll be able to get it as soon as the slots are cleared. In other words, yes, you may reserve a slot. ALL I ASK is that you have your Commission Order ready. IF YOU DO THIS, THE SOONER I'LL BE ABLE TO START THE COMMISSION WHEN THE SLOTS CLEAR!
Q. How long will it take for you to finish my commission?
A. You receive your commission as soon as I complete it. However, to actually make the commission can vary from simply hours to a matter of days, sometimes even weeks if the commission is difficult enough. If you wish, you may check up on me and ask about the progress of your commission. In fact, I recommend it; a little friendly pressure keeps me well on track.
Q. Is there anything I can do to make the commission process easier?
A. The most I ask for in order to make the commission process easier, is for you to read the Terms of Service section closely and carefully before ordering; it will be much smoother if you do, since then you won't be surprised by anything.
Q. Do you ship out the original artwork once it's completed?
A. Yes, I do send out the original artwork of your commission IF requested. As I've stated above, I am able to ship worldwide, and have done so successfully.
Q. I haven't received my commission yet. Where is it?
A. If the commission has been shipped, it will take a few days to reach you. But if it is to be received via email, the commission will be sent almost immediately after it is completed.
Q. Do you color using digital means?
A. I apologize, but I currently do not have the means to create digitally colored commissions. :(
Q. Do you accept commissions other than the types you've provided?
A. It all depends, actually. I don't mind if you do run it by me, however, and I'll make a decision on whether or not I'll accept the offer. Just know that I have the right to decline the offered type of commission, or any commission for that matter, if I have no interest in doing it or I am not able to do it.
Q. I want you to make a book cover/novel cover/banner/logo/ect that I'd like to sell. Will you do it?
A. Usually, I refuse to take these sort of jobs, due to my lack of knowledge and experience when it comes to something as professional as this sort of topic. However, if discussed, I don't mind doing said job, so long as there's upfront payment involved, as well as royalties. Just contact me if you're interested, and we'll see where it goes. c:
Q. I'm from Deviantart, and I'd like to use points to pay for your commissions. Do you accept that?
A. For the commissions I offer here? No, I do not. These prices are for my NORMAL commission, of which I accept nothing but money as payment. I do accept point commissions, but only ON OCCASION. You'll just have to look out for when the next Point commission will be open.
